The marketing spin was so overbearing I left turned off. CiscoLive this year inspired me wonder if Cisco is in touch with the products and the daily life and tasks of a person working with Cisco gear. Having to sit through 15 minutes of Karen Walker before each keynote is off putting. We already paid to be there, just get on with the keynote. She seems like she could give a presentation on landmines with the same demeanor. Does not have the authenticity and warmth of a Padmasree Warrior or John Chambers.
Reality is leaving Cisco with John Chambers. Anyone want to take bets he comes back in a few years Steve Jobs style to save the company?
