Seems that OpenFiler is a dead project. Getting into http://www.freenas.org/ as development seems to be Active.
Check it out! They are trying to make something enterprise. Goal seems to be replace NetApp. If they combined this with a project like Isilons’ OneFS this could be a game changer.
