Is the man spying on your UCS? Not making a political statement just passing on some knowledge to think about. Will this effect UCS/Cisco sales outside the country? Would be a shame to see exports of the greatest bringer of world peace (Cisco UCS) slow. “All we are saying is give UCS a chance”
Not sure if this is possible. Not much gear is internet facing and even if it was unusual traffic from the router/switch would be noted. What protocol other than IP would move on the Internet? Code is often updated and firmware also so how long would the hack exist. On a cynical note enough Cisco feature “just work” and have bugs to get around, how would a hacked version of the code even work? Firewalls would catch any equipment trying to call home and so many systems are a closed loop that never physically connects to the Internet.
